For the attention of international students!

Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University has been implementing the hybrid (blended) learning process since October 19.

Theoretical courses are conducted online while carrying out laboratory and practical courses are planned in lecture-halls and clinical environments, provided full compliance with all safety regulations.

The clinical subjects schedule and the mode of its implementation are worked out in agreement with the different departments of the basic and clinical subjects. Thus, you will receive information on each individual course from the lecturers of that course, considering the situation in the appropriate hospitals. Upon on the recommendations of the Ministries of Education/Science and Healthcare of Georgia, the administration of the Faculty of Medicine of the TSU may amend the schedule of the practical/clinical components.

As far as you are aware, the government of Georgia started arranging the charter flights to bring international students to Georgia. However, each international student will continue distance learning before arriving in Georgia. The same applies to newly enrolled, first-year students, whose 1st semester starts on November 2nd.

We try to plan and implement the educational process so as not to question the issue of the recognition of semester results.
